Dr. Hemang Shah is a neurologist with Kernodle Clinic in Burlington, NC.
He received his MBBS degree from M.P. Shah Medical College, Gujarat, India, which included a one-year rotating internship at various medical institutes in Gujarat. Dr. Shah taught medical students and worked as a hospitalist before migrating to America. He did stroke research at UNC Chapel Hill. He did his Internal Medicine internship, Neurology residency, and Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA.
Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship focuses on Electromyography (EMG) and Electroencephalography EEG.
In addition to providing excellent local care for neurological conditions, our practice also offers essential diagnostic testing such as in-house laboratory, EEG, office video EEG, and NCS/EMG. We also perform therapeutic procedures such as Scrambler Therapy, Carpal Tunnel Injection, Occipital Nerve Block, Botox for chronic migraine, Trigger Point Injections, Botox for other medical conditions (e.g., blepharospasm, cervical dystonia, hemifacial spasm, post-stroke spasticity), VNS - Vagal Nerve Stimulator management for epilepsy, etc.
